Bhaktapur : Chairman of Nepal Communist Party and Former Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has urged both the ruling and the opposition parties to work in unison for the campaign of development and prosperity.
During a walkathon organized on the occasion of 51st week of the Hanumante Cleaning Up campaign here today, Chairman Dahal viewed that cleaning up campaign has given a good message.
The river cleaning up campaign has given a message of unity, he said adding that time has come for devoting to prosperous Nepal. "As it is the duty of all citizens to make the country, divisive mentality would not do good on it," he underscored.
On the occasion, Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh said the river clean-up campaign has helped people adopt a safe and hygienic lifestyle.
Similarly, NCP leader Mahesh Basnet said the people in Bhaktapur district have embraced the country's motto of development and prosperity as a campaign. The Hanumante river cleaning up campaign has been a model campaign of the country.
According to him, the Hanumante corridor was being built now, and the river would be made free of sewerage within two years.
Campaign coordinator and Mayor of Suryabinayak municipality, Basudev Thapa, informed that the campaign has focused on the cleanliness along the Araniko Highway and temple premises and Tole (locality) sanitation.
