Theme: Leadership, Vision, and Impact

Background and Purpose
For the first time in Nepal in 2018, a national-level CEO Conference and CEO Awards were organized. The initiative brought together top professionals and change-makers from public, private, and social sectors under one platform to share ideas and inspire transformation. The CEO Awards, presented under the banner of “Leadership Excellence,” honored 12 outstanding leaders from various sectors, recognizing their contribution to business, governance, and social innovation.

However, after 2018, the conference and awards could not be continued. Over the past six years, Nepal has faced significant political and economic transitions, where many leaders have emerged to build their personal and institutional legacy through dedication and innovation. Despite various national and global crises, resilient leaders demonstrated their ability to adapt and thrive.

Amidst these challenges, many leaders not only saved their organizations or sectors but created new models of impact and value. Several individuals displayed outstanding leadership even in times of adversity—leaving a lasting impression in business, innovation, and public service.

Therefore, we believe it is time to recognize and celebrate these change-makers with pride and gratitude.
After a gap of six years, the upcoming edition will be relaunched in 2025 as the Nepal CEO Conference and Awards 2025 with a renewed vision and upgraded format.

This flagship event aims to identify and honor exceptional leadership from across industries, institutions, start-ups, and social enterprises. It will provide a national platform for celebration, dialogue, visibility, policy insight, cross-sector collaboration, and recognition of impactful CEOs.

Key Objectives of the Conference

• Celebrate impactful leadership from 2020 to 2025.
• Offer a national platform for CEOs and future leaders.
• Award ceremony date: July 5 2025.
• Evaluation based on proven achievements and demonstrated leadership.
• Foster trust in ethical leadership across business, media, and governance.
• Recognize 13 outstanding personalities through a transparent and robust jury process.
• Ensure diverse representation with at least 3 women awardees and inclusive nominations from across sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants or nominees must
• Be a Nepali citizen or resident.
• Have held a leadership position for at least two years in a registered company or institution.
• Be actively contributing in business, entrepreneurship, or development sectors.
• Have led initiatives in any relevant field or region.
• Have demonstrable results in improving local production and innovation.
• Have contributed to national economy, governance, or development.
• Have shown significant leadership and impact in their sector.
