Panchthar, 3 Feb : Two persons died in a tractor accident this morning at Salleri Bazaar of Hilihang Rural Municipality-7 in Panchthar district.
Two persons died on the spot while next one has sustained injuries, Police Inspector Bigyan Basnet said.
According to the police, Bhupendra Darjee and Kamal Bhattarai of Srijunjg Rural Municipality in Taplejung district died after the tractor (Me 1 Ta 3406) heading to Phidim of Panchthar from Taplejung district fell some 170 metres off the road.
Injured in the accident, Samir Sherpa of Santhakra of Taplejung district was rushed to the Panchthar District Hospital.
