Kathmandu : A motorcyclist died in a road mishap at Khorsane-Kerabari road of Sundarharaicha municipality-10 in Morang district this afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Bam Bahadur Basnet, 48, of Kerabari rural municipality-9. The accidnet took place when a tipper (Ko 1 Kha 4355) heading towards south from north hit the motorcycle (Ko 5 Pa 5500) coming from opposite direction.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office,Morang, Ghanshyam Shrestha, said that injured Basnet died while undergoing treatment at Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences. Police have arrested tipper driver, Raj Kumar Magar, 31,and impounded the vehicle.
