Nepalgung : Two scooter riders were killed in a road accident at Madanchowk of Kohalpur municipality-3 along the east-west highway in Banke district. The injured has been identified as Usha Chaudhary, 32, of Thakurdwar municipality-8 of Bardiya and Lok Bahadur Shahi, 30, of Baijanath rural municipality-2 of Banke district, said Police Inspector Man Bahadur BC.
According to police, both deceased are scooter drivers. The accident took place when a jeep (Ba 15 Cha 2096) hit the both scooters – Bhe 5 Pa 1420 and Bhe 8 Pa 2165. The police have arrested the driver Roshan Oli in this connection.
