Manang : A tourist and a guide who had gone missing for two weeks from the Annapurna trekking route have been found dead.
The search team found the dead bodies of a Netherland national Doloma Decilent and his guide Ajay Dhakal at Kyangli cliff near Dhikurpokhari of Ngisyang rural municipality in the district, said police.
They were killed in avalanche. Police Inspector from District Police Office, Manang, Sarbendra Kumar BK, said they might have been killed in the avalanche while coming to Gumchhang of upper part of Thorang pass from Ledar.
Efforts are underway to take the bodies to Kathmandu via helicopter, he added.
