Beni : A dozen of Nepali Congress leaders including President Sher Bahadur Deuba have arrived here to sensitize party cadres on the pressing agenda.
Senior leader Ramchandra Poudel and Spokesperson Bishwoprakash Sharma have accompanied President Deuba. He is scheduled to address the mass meeting and inaugurate the party office.
The leaders also visited the Tatopani pond, also known as natural healing place, located at Beni-4. Joint secretary of the pond management committee, Kumar KC, informed that the visit of the big leaders would help augment the tourism prospect of the Tataopani pond.
Similarly, committee chairman Birendra Man Shakya further said the Tatopani pond has significant value.
