Kathmandu : A health camp has been organised at the Pashupatinath area for convenience of devotees visiting the temple of Hindu God Shiva on the occasion of the Mahashivaratri today.
An organisation named 'Vision Nepal for Development' started the camp this morning. It will continue till this evening.
So far, 210 devotees have received its services. Over 35 health workers from different hospitals are available at the camp. They are reaching up to the devotees in queues to know whether they have any health related complain. Needy patients were given required medicines free of cost, organisers said.
Headache and blood pressure issues have been found as common problems among those devotees receiving services at the camp. The organisation has been conducting this kind of camp for the past three years.
