Bhojpur : A woman was killed and eight others were injured in a bus accident took place today at Deurali of Bhojpur municipality-6.
The bus en route to Dharan from the Bhojpur bus park overturned on the roadside as the driver lost control of it due to a brake failure. The deceased has been identified as Hem Kumari Karki, 50, of Pyauli, Arun rural municipality-3, Bhojpur.
The bus (Ko 1 Kha 3059) left for Dharan at 11:00 am. A total of 18 people were onboard the ill-fated bus.
The injured are being treated at the District Hospital Bhojpur and the Siddhakali Hospital. Among them, the condition of one is said to be critical, police said.
