Melamchi : A seven-year-old child has been found dead in Melamchi municipality-11 on Friday evening.
Umesh Magar, the son of Dipak Magar, a resident of Sindhuli, currently living in Melamchi, was found dead in a different room of the house that they were staying on rent. The child was found with injury marks in the body, police said.
The owner of the room, a woman, has been arrested on the charge of murder, area police office, Melamchi inspector Mahendra Darnal said. The body of the child has been sent to Kathmandu TU Teaching Hospital for a post-mortem.
