Kathmandu : A person was killed when a tipper hit his bike at Dhalku of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-17 today. The incident took place at 10.55 am. The tipper (Ba 3 Kha 4220) carrying garbage had hit the motorcycle (Ba 51 Pa 6867).
Police identified the victim as 30-year-old Anil Gurung of Dhobichaur, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-17. Gurung, who was fatally injured in the incident, died in course of treatment at the Manmohan Hospital, Thamel at 11.15 am, Superintendent of Police at the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division, Jaya Raj Sapkota, said.
The tipper driver has been arrested and the vehicle impounded, police said.
