Kathmandu : President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said although Nepal is a country emitting miniscule Carbon, it is the most affected from the negative impact of climate change.
President Bhandari stated this today in her tweet before leaving for Poland to take part in the 24th conference of the United Nations Climate Change Framework Convention (COP 24).
“We should not be made to suffer from and punished for a crime or a wrong that we have not committed; it is the responsibility of the global community to prevent injustice on the innocent. Nepal is committed to global climate adaptation,” the President wrote in her tweet.
