RJPN president Yadav to construct irrigation project

Lahan : Member of the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN)’s presidium, Raj Kishor Yadav, has pledged to construct a deep-boring irrigation project at Mirchaiya municipality by investing from his parliamentary fund. 

The RJPN leader made this commitment while addressing a greetings exchange programme organized at Mirchaiya municipality-4 on the occasion of Bada Dashain, Deepawali and Chhath festivals this morning. 

Yadav represents the Siraha constituency 4 in the House of Representatives, the lower house of the Federal Parliament. 

He said the foundation of the deep-boring irrigation project would be laid immediately after the Chhath festival and it would be constructed at a cost of Rs 10 million from the parliamentarian’s development fund. Yadav said the project would irrigate about 100 bighas land. 

Party leaders and cadres, members of the civic society, local intellectuals and businessmen as well as the members of the general public attended the programme.
