Biatadi, 22 Feb – The District Court, Baitadi has sentenced a person to life imprisonment including additional eight years in jail for murder of a woman after gang rape.The bench of the District Court Judge Bishnu Prasad Gautam handed down a jail sentence of 28 years to 18-year-old Bharat Ram Luhar of Patan Municipality-1 on the charge of murdering a 16-year-old woman of local Melauli Municipality on July 18, 2017 after a gang rape. Manoj Ram Dayal, 27, of the same place, another person convicted on the charge of his involvement in the gang rape, has been slapped life sentence.
