Bhaktapur, 25 Jan : A person riding a scooter was killed when a truck hit him at Nalinchok, Surya Binayak Municipality-9 here on Wednesday evening.
The deceased is 39-year-old Prakash Manandhar of Banepa Municipality-6, Kavrepalanchok district. Manandhar, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, died in course of treatment at the Bhaktapur Hospital last night.
Police have taken the truck driver and the truck under control for investigation.
