Jajarkot, 13 Jan : A team of medicos has arrived in viral affected Junichande Rural Municipality Ward No. 1, 2 and 3 of Jajarkot district.
Former Home Minister and Member of House of Representative Shakti Bahadur Basnet, Secretary at Ministry of Health Pushpa Chaudhary and medical practitioners have reached the affected areas.
The team is scheduled to distribute medicines in the affected areas and hold an interaction programme at the district headquarters to issue directives to the officials concerned.
The team has also brought around eight quintals of medicines meant for distributing in the viral-hit areas.
The laboratory report of the sample testing from the patients conducted in the capital city confirmed the outbreak of seasonal flu in the district.
So far, a total of 13 persons have succumbed to seasonal flu in the district.
