Bhaktapur, 4 Jan : Nepali Congress central committee member and parliamentarian Dr Narayan Khadka has said that the NC has not become obstacle for formation of a new government.
Saying it has been delayed to hand over the power to new government due to legal obstacle, leader Khadka said that the NC has not become obstacle for the same.
At a programme organised by Rafat Sanchar Club today, he said that the NC was ready to remain in opposition by handing over power to new government after National Assembly election.
Clarifying that the NC has not made any agreement for the formation of new government, leader Khadka said that the issue of making agreement with CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal for formation of new government was only rumor.
He, however, said that the status of caretaker could not be given to the incumbent government as this government itself would be considered valid until the National Assembly election.
