Rajbiraj, 21 Dec -A man died after being hit by a vehicle at Surunga municipality-4 along the East-West Highway on Wednesday.
The man in his twenties is not yet identified. The vehicle that hit him has also not been traced, according to Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Singh. A search is underway while efforts are on to identity the victim.Meanwhile, an Indian citizen was found dead in Nargha of Belhi Chapena rural municipality-3.
Raj Kumar Yadav,55, of Kuiriban in Madhubani Bihar of India had come to purchase paddy in the village. He is suspected to have died of excessive alcohol consumption, according to District Police Office, Saptari. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
