Kavrepalanchowk, 17 Dec – All the members of parliament elected to the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly from Kavre are new. Kavre has been divided into two HoR constituencies and four PA constituencies.
Ganga Bahadur Tamang Dong is a first time MP elected to the HoR from constituency no. 1. He had however contested the local level elections in Temal rural municipality and lost.
Likewise, Gokul Baskota elected to the HoR from constituency no. 2 is also a new face in the central parliament. He had also lost in the 2013 Constituent Assembly elections.
The provincial parliament members including Ratna Prasad Dhakal (1,a) Chandra Lama (1,b), Laxman Lamsal (2,a) and Basundhara Humagain (2b) are all first time people’s representatives.
